President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived Ondo State for a one day visit to commiserate with the people of the State over the passing of their Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu. Since Akeredolu's death in December 2023, President Tinubu will be visiting the family of the late Governor who was buried last week at his Owo country home.
The President was received by the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Mr. Adelami at the airport. The President will then proceed to Owo where he is to meet the immediate family of the late Governor and the Olowo. According to an itinerary seen by SunshineReporters, the President will then meet Pa Fasoranti before departing back to Abuja.
Meanwhile, there are reports of widespread crisis and assaults on supporters of gubernatorial aspirants in the All Progressives Congress APC). While there accusations and counter accusations, video and pictorial facts portrays that all billboard of all Aspirants bar the Governor has been destroyed.
